Once we have a positive outcome for the screening process, we will then be able to submit an objection on your behalf. If you have not yet applied for screening for the relevant property - please do so first by clicking here.

Rates Watch will undertake the following on your behalf:
  • Prepare an objection form

  • Lodge the objection.

  • Obtain a receipt for the submission of the objection

  • Send you a copy of the objection form that was submitted

  • Arrange a possible interview with the Municipal Valuer

  • Analyse the decision of the Municipal Valuer

  • Where considered necessary request reasons from the Municipal Valuer

  • Consider the reasons supplied by the Municipal Valuer.

  • Recommend whether an appeal should be lodged


IF YOU DO NOT LODGE AN OBJECTION TO AN INCORRECT VALUATION ENTRY, YOU FORFEIT THE RIGHT OF OBJECTION AND APPEAL.
